Managing high deductibles

Many people, who once went without insurance, now have coverage because of The Affordable Care Act.  It means that you will be able to seek medical care and behavioral health services, that perhaps you did without in the past.     However, many of the health plans come with huge deductibles!

What is a deductible?  It refers to the amount of our of pocket costs that you are responsible for, before your insurance will start to pay for your services.   It varies from plan to plan.  I’ve seen some deductibles as high at ten thousand dollars.  That means you have to pay for ten thousand dollars worth of care before your insurance company will pay.  People who have chronic health conditions are likely to meet their deductible.  However,  for those who are well, it will be a challenge to meet the out of pocket expectations.    Consequently, some  people go without services and we find that to be unacceptable.

We have a solution for you!   We are offering bundled services.  For example, you can purchase 5 sessions at once.  If you pay for all five sessions upfront, you will receive a 20% discount.  Essentially, you’re getting one free session.

If your insurance company has a health savings account as part of your plan, we will give you a receipt and for which you can use to receive reimbursement for the total out of pocket costs.   Your net cost=zero!  It’s a win-win for you.

We accept all major credit cards, including health savings cards.   Of course, you may pay by check or with cash.
